Discovery; The Next Two Feasts Mark Out the 70th Week of Daniel.

As we study
and meditate upon the holy scriptures there are those rare occasions when
something "jumps out" at us. Such was the case with this recent discovery.
In looking
at timespans between the upcoming two Fall Feasts of Israel, I made a discovery
that was rather startling to say the least. When the Tishrei to Tishrei
time interval for certain seven year spans of years is 86 moons, (it is
86 moons about two thirds of the time according to where those seven years
are on the metatonic cycle), then the timespan between the Feast of Trumpets
and the Day of Atonement, (Tishrei 10) seven years later turns out to be
2550 DAYS inclusive. This can be confirmed by
the Jewish website http://hebcal.com which
gives us a conversion from Hebrew calendar to our Gregorian calendar so
we can count out the days.
When I
saw this number it blew me away! I realized that this was the very same
timespan which will encompass the 70th week of Daniel.
In Dan.12:9
Daniel mentions a timespan of 1290 days. (This must be a 30 day space between
the two halves of the 70th week. 30 + 1260 = 1290 days.)
Daniel
mentions the 1290 days as being the timespan bridging the cessation of
the sacrifices at midweek with the end of the age
If we add
our first half (1260 days) to those 1290 days we get a total of 1260 days
+ 1290 days = 2550 DAYS. This is identical to that
Feast to Feast timespan for the next two upcoming Feasts of Israel.
It would
seem highly likely then that the beginning of the 70th week, (which is
the day when Israel signs that Daniel 9:27 seven year sovereignty sharing
deal with the peacemaker AC),
will come
right on Rosh Hoshanah, the Jewish New Year. This will be a truly auspicious
date on the Hebrew calendar. It will be right on Tishrei 1, Feast
of Trumpets. This is the next Feast of Israel due to be fulfilled. We can
expect that all of the upcoming Fall Feasts will be fulfilled in
spectacular ways just as the former spring feasts and the summer feast
were fulfilled back in the passion year.
So the
upcoming Feasts Of Trumpets in years 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011
are the
ones to watch carefully. One of them, or the ones that come later, will
fire off the starting gun for the 70th week of Daniel. This will initiate
the final 7 years of this age. This coming epic Feast of Trumpets will
be a prophetic event of major, even biblical proportions.
What a
day that will be! Are we all practicing up on blowing the shofar?
