We in the church have liberty in Christ yet we have responsibility. For those of us who desire the deeper things and desire to use them there is a price to pay. The saying others may and you may not refers to that. I would say now, especialy with what is happening in the world, we desperately need to hear from God. We can not rely on our current life style. We are in for some harsh changes. We can not afford to be careless with our thought life, we can not bear fruit when the weeds choke it out. I speak also for myself also. We must yield our undisciplined thought life to Christ. We  will bear fruit if His commands live in us, Its simple, if we harbor unforgiveness, bitterness and unwholesome thoughts, his commands do not live in us.
