TO CAPS RE: JUDGMENT SEAT
Thank you DP for your very insightful and tasty offering placed upon our feast table ! Loved it. A while back I had thought about this admonition not to "weep", at this scene when the returning Jews heard and understood their own law, and re-instituted the feasts. I remembered that Jesus said "on that day no man can take your JOY from you"........also He said:
Joh 16:20 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
And He also said that when a woman has birth pains, afterward when the child is born, there is great JOY.
Some of the parables suggest that there will be "weeping and gnashing of teeth",,,,,,,to those who miss out on this joyous occasion of meeting the Lord, and seeing our loved ones again. Also, I imagine that your recognition of this event with the Jews relating to the judgment seat of Christ, will be a place of tension and fear and maybe even weeping for us? (for our works as a Christian will be brought into review.....) But what a lovely ending! He will say, "weep not", but go out and SHARE your joy, and you are so correct to see that during the millenium, if not before during the judgment years.....that we will definitely be so filled with that joy that we will want to share it with all who have nothing in the way of knowledge about our most magnificent Lord. So much more to learn, so that we have more to share !
Thanks for adding to our daily bread DP. Blessings to you and yours,,,,
