And buy "unbleached" white flour for your baking purposes. And 100% whole wheat bread. Never buy "brown bread".....it is just white bread with a colorant in it to make it brown in color, and has no whole wheat in it whatsoever. Read the label. Disgusting. Poor, illiterate folks, buy this thinking they are getting a healthy bread. Disgusting. A label cannot say "whole wheat", and not have at least a portion of the ingredients as whole wheat. But a label that says "100% whole wheat" must have no white flour mix in it. I like Aunt Millie's "organic" 100% whole wheat bread.
I am continually appalled by the adulteration of our food products by the food industry and FDA as helper to this abomination. All of which feeds the ever-expanding drug industry as people pour into clinics and hospitals with their various ills. It seems to me they had better start putting "side effects" labels on our food!
