Hi John:
Angie Finney has expressed many of the same sentiments I have had for some time, but she has hit the Bull's Eye in explaining the real cause for the mess that we are in.  That cause is none other than Satan!

We seem to forget that Satan has his own agenda, and is determined to accomplish it no matter what he has to do, or what the consequences may be.  First, and foremost, he must remove God and everything associated with Him from our world, because he wants to be God!  Brock Chisolm the Director of the United Nations World Health Organization, says " To achieve world government,  it is necessary to remove from the mind of men their individualism, loyalty to their families, national patriotism, and religion."  Every single world order including the coming Anti-Christ's has one common trait:  An attempt to cast God of the affairs of men.

No wonder we are seeing the most hateful attitude ever witnesses in my lifetime in the political arena and in the media.  No wonder we witness daily deliberate lying and half-truths.  No wonder we seldom hear the truth of what is going on in the world.  Satan is the father of lies and the first murderer.  No one will stand in Satan's way, not even the President of the United States!

We as believers know who will win ultimately, and we should stand firm, and not shrink in the face of such an overwhelming adversary.  If God before us, who can be against us?  God has commanded us to pray for our leaders, and that includes the President of the United States.  If Satan is unloading on the President, should we be doing the same?  We expect our President to be perfect, but we will never have a perfect leader in control until Christ comes to reign!  We must be very careful when we condemn a fellow believer, for in so doing, we are condemning Christ.  Surely this brings delight to Satan, when we tear each other apart.  Let us remember that Christ hates dissension among the believers.

To re-emphasize what I said earlier, Satan will use whatever means to bring him victory, and includes hatred, deception, strife, lying, half-truths, false accusations, pride, selfishness, etc.  We as believers should never condone any of these things on the part of anyone, nor should be we support any candidate who violates Biblical doctrines.

I believe we will soon leave this wicked world, and go to our real home in Heaven, but we have a job to do until this takes place.  We are the only ones who can offer any hope whatsoever to a world that is fast falling for the deception of Satan.  We must not just sit and wring our hands, but we must stand up, speak out, and cause Satan and his legions to flee at the mention of  Jesus Christ, our coming Savior who will one day cast Satan and all who follow him in the Lake of Fire.  Glory be to God!!
