"II Thess. 2: 9 - 12"

Dear John:

Recently, I have been impressed with the message of II Thess 2: 9 - 12.
There are so many people who are living a care-free life style with no
concern for the future.  These verses state that those who hear the
gospel prior to the Rapture, and reject it, will be forced to believe
the lie, and will consequently  be condemned forever after the Rapture.
They will be exposed to the wrath of God during the Tribulation, and
face an eternity in Hell.  These verses should also be a source of
motivation to believers to do everything possible to reach those around
them while there is still the opportunity to do so.  Even many
professing Christians need to hear the message.

A recent survey indicates that professing Christians often live their
lives with little evidence of their profession of their faith.  They are
often just as likely to be depressed, divorced, or commit suicide, as
unbelievers.  Forty-four percent of those who call themselves
"Christians" admit that they have not been Born-Again.  Fifty-four
percent think that they can go to Heaven by merely "being good."  Only
sixty-nine percent believe that there is a Heaven, and ninety-four
percent believe that they are going there!

I distribute two tracts extensively.  They are "Second Coming", and
"Life's Greatest Decision", and they are available from the Fellowship
Tract League, PO Box 164, Lebanon, OH 45036. and they are free of
charge.  I carry a few in my billfold, and give one to whomever helps in
a business setting.

Scripture tells us that those who win souls will shine like the stars
forever (Daniel 12: 3).  I believe these will shine forever because of
those to whom they witnessed who then enter Heaven.  Wouldn't you like
to shine like the stars forever?  May we allow God to show us the way to
be effective for Him in these days just before His return.  May God help
us.
