"RE: I don't need this anymore!"

We've been going through the same thing.  I even asked for no presents on my birthday last month....just the gift of finishing a garden project with my spouse.  We are repairing our house as needed but not spending money on renovation.  We've had to learn how to regrout, caulk, mix mortar, etc.  The Lord showed us, "He Builds the House".  You should see our tiny kitchen with plywood cabinets!  We didn't even own our own home until after 24 years of marriage 4 years ago.  Yet, I am content not to worry about debt other than mortgage, and wait for going to my "real" home with the Lord.

We have donated endless boxes of things the past year.  If you need a cure for having too much, just ask to look in back of a thrift store like Goodwill where everything is processed.  After seeing mountains and mountains of used clothes, games, cookware, gadgets, etc., you'll want to declutter even more.

I don't even take that many photographs anymore, just more stuff to keep track of and organize.
