"123 + 111 = 234"

Hello Doves,
Math and numbers are not my area, but the posts on 234 have me scratching my head as well. The thing that jumped out at me was that 234 could be lifted from a sequence of 1 2 3 4 5, with 1 and 5 missing. Or as the subject line shows 123 + 111 = 234, and 234 + 111 = 345.....567 + 111 = 678 etc.

         1)   123 + 111 = 234
         2)   234 + 111 = 345
         3)   345 + 111 = 456
         4)   456 + 111 = 567
         5)   567 + 111 = 678

         6)   678 + 111 = 789            (789 + 111 = 900)
         111 + 111 + 111 + 111 + 111 + 111 = 666
          6 X 111 = 666
