"religious bullying"
Odd we have free will yet we are bullying each
other into doing our will concerning the election. We are called
to do good and follow truth and goodness yet are urging voting for the
lesser or two evils. This is why america lost its way and
this is why america will be judged. We don't vote our conscience we don't
vote for the best person we vote for who can win and who is the better
of two bad candidates. We don't vote as godly people we vote as worldly
people consumed in the world's mantra of better to be on the winning team.
That a person who is less evil is better than one who is more evil even
when a non evil alternative is there. And of course the" he says he is
christian so lets believe him rather than take time finding out whether
he is or is just saying that. Political parties use that as there way to
bully(you are a republican so you must vote republican) and now churches
are using God to bully people into voting. People constantly attack people
for pointing out where bush has done un-christian and done wrong but are
we not to point out when one does wrong that they may repent and change??
Are we not to show a brother in Christ, or at least one who claims to be,
where he has acted against the faith so that he may be brought back into
the fold. Our founding fathers died that we might complain about what is
wrong so it is made right. Now people who do that are chastised told if
they don't like america to leave instead of complain. If they don't like
bush tough he is better than kerry and if you are going to vote 3rd party
just save the trouble and vote kerry. Dave Winecoff said "Believers who
caste their vote for a minor party candidate to make a statement have lost
sight of the fact that we are in the last days and are, in my view,
helping to speed up the rate of descent." I think he has forgotten that
you can't not stop the tribulation from starting. It sounds like the believe
that some how a vote for bush delays the tribulation. "The avalanche has
already started, it is too late for the pebbles to vote". God is in control
it will not start after it is suppose to and as to speeding up the rate
of decent God will not allow anything to happen before it is supposed to.
I am going to vote my conscience and when I go before God
I can say I didn't settle for evil. I will have a clear conscience knowing
I voted for who was best for the job not the less evil candidate or the
one who would win even though he is not morally acceptable.
