Dear Doves,
I have never read a letter as articulate and to the point as Marie's concerning supporting a third party candidate in this election. I often work with political consultants/candidates/elected officials. Please know that the only thing that will make a difference  for Christians,Five Doves fans,conservatives (Christian or not), parents who don't want gov. interference in raising their children, maintaining the sanctity of marriage, etc , .........is supporting President Bush.  I know he is a flawed human being......right there with me and the rest of us who are still breathing.But, the reality is that no third party candidate has a prayer.........and President Bush needs God fearing people supporting him and holding him up in prayer. I believe that he is a Christian. Some may feel that he isn't the "right" denomination, not as commited as they may be,etc........but we aren't the "JUDGE". Thankfully, the ONE who is knows his heart and knows how to bring it in line with HIS plans.
I believe that God EXPECTS us to be salt and light.......occupy till HE comes......PRAY for our leaders and this nation. Until Jesus comes, we have to live in this world that we are His Ambassadors to. Let's keep the administration that we have some favor with in office.
