Hi y'all...
I've been watching the interplay between Joe and and Donna and would like to toss my two cents into the ring.
 
Joe, have you ever considered that Satan was lying to Jesus when he said that he could give all the world's kingdoms and their glory to Him? After all, is Satan not a liar and the father of lies? I suspect that even Satan did not really know with whom he was face to face when the Living God, albeit veiled in flesh, first walked on the earth 2000 plus years ago.
Satan is the prince of the powers of the air. His kingdom permeates the world and certainly influences a great deal of what goes on here, but he does not rule the earth. As far as I can tell, that prerogative has always been the pervue of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
Romans 13:1 says that the powers that be are ordained of the Lord.
You might well be correct that many elections are corrupt...but so are we. We get what we deserve. But ultimately God is in control and he gives us our leaders, for better or worse.
 
About voting: Does anyone remember the election 4 years ago? How many of you felt as if you would "crawl across broken glass" just to cast your ballot against the hand-picked successor to that abominable wretch bill clinton? That election was a battle like no other before it. Was it mere flesh battling, or was there something deeper going on???
