Interesting observation and correlation.

I began to feel that there was some king of "separation" going on about five years ago.  My husband and I were sort of drawn out or pulled out of various activities and were seemingly grouped with or put together with people that were aware what was "going on".  It seemed that the shared characteristics were Christians that read the Bible, loved or favored Israel and were eagerly watching prophecy.  And, not that I have anything against going to church but it seems we were drawn away from the typical organized church groups.

Many times felt a lot like Elijah--We were being fed bits and pieces from the Word by the Holy Spirit.  I has been a strange feeling but I have learned to trust God in all things.   So what you say about sifting or a separation really rings true with me.  And your dates as have some others from other sources have brought my attention once again to the that time period around September of this year.   Interesting I think.
