Hello John and Fellow Doves,
 
First let me add my echo of your comments on cleaning the "stuff" out.  I, too, have had a consuming desire to rid my household of the extras.  We have had to set up a second residence in the high desert of central Oregon because of business.  We have found a real freedom in the minimized household we've set up.  It makes the urge to clean out the remaining extras in Portland quickly.
 
Secondly, I am feeling a strong prompting of the Lord to share a personal indicator of the possible timing of the Lord's return for His Bride.  Over the past fifteen years, my daughters and son and I have had a variety of vision/dreams that we knew were from the Lord.  The identifiable elements in the dream/night visions could be summarized essentially as:
 
1. Our family was together in the Puget Sound area when the Lord returned
2. It was baseball season
3. We were at a family gathering in which specific family members were present
4. Tornados were a focused issue and imminent (the NW has rarely had tornados until this year)
5. My son was specifically focused in the event
6. A full moon had just occurred
7. I was standing in the entry way of a home with the Lord.  The only identifying feature of the area was an elongated window the length of the door in the entry.
8. Jesus was telling me that I had to trust Him for His return for me as His bride...

Yesterday, a post was placed on 5 Doves that identified August 29 as a possible rapture date.  I always think that means Jerusalem time.  It struck me that the date was an important one.  What follows is not to say that the Lord has told me that this is the time of His return.  However, I have felt strongly that I am to write in the correlation of the elements in the dreams that match the date.
 
Our family will be at our son's wedding reception in the Puget Sound area on August 28 (Aug.29 Jerusalem time).  It is baseball season.  The members of the family who travel heavily are often miss family gatherings will be present (as they were in the dream/night vision).  Tornados have touched down in Washington and Oregon this year...they also symbolize coming judgment in scripture.  A blue  full moon occurs tomorrow.  The picture of the door entry I saw in my dream with the elongated window was just given to me as part of the pictures of the interior of a home we are likely to move into shortly.  It is the first time that I have recognized the scene in my dream as having a counterpart in my life.
 
Today as my fax machine was refusing to function, I laid hands on it and prayed that if this scene was indeed the scene we were given indicating the Lord's return, that the fax would function.  It began to hum as it scanned the document and sent it off.  With the next document, it again refused to function.
 
So many of us have had very clearly marked times when the events seemed to line up for the Lord's return.  We have been watching and waiting jointly groaning for longer than any of us would have believed.  Still we wait with hope increasing, knowing that Jesus will not disappoint.  For the joy set before us in His presence, we endure the barrage of impossible circumstances we find ourselves in.  We follow His cloud knowing that He intentionally led the Hebrews out of Egypt to a place without water for the sole purpose of causing them to call on Him that He might deliver them with water from the rock.  I am so impressed with His desire for us to call on Him in increasing depths of trust and adoration, knowing that He acts towards us out of a heart of love always, even and especially in our pain.
 
If August 30 comes and we are here, we will continue to trust and know that His timing will be perfect.  We are one day closer to Jesus each day in whatever form He takes us home.  I submit this simply out of obedience to His prompting.  Let's see what happens.
