I don't think it would be wrong.  After all, it is a place of worship of God and Jesus will ultimately go there and cleanse it.  It is the focal point of worship for Israel and the Bible promises that those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed.  The rebuilding and presence of the Temple will ultimately act as a witness for the miracle of Israel and the deity/priesthood of Jesus.
 
If for no other reason, it would poke a stick in the eye of Satan, Islam, and terrorists...
