The battle belongs to the Lord
 
It is so nice to come to a place where one can work the things out that we wrestle with.
 
This morning I woke up to the birds singing at 4am. Peace in the morning after all the chaos last nite with the 4th of July firework celebration. Ironically a celebration of freedom and peace few of us citizens understand the full impactions of. But wars rage and the birds are always there to sing in the morning thru out mans strife filled history. The peace is always there once we stopped raging, that goes for our minds also.
 
When we are saved we are filled with peace. But as time goes on we soon learn that we are still in a battle. Many of us have a very difficult time handing these struggles over. Some of them are to bring us to life changing decisions, some of them are a test to see who's side we are really on. They are all a test of our faith and they are no fun when we are in the midst of them. We struggle and struggle. No one else can really handle the struggle for us, it is really an issue between us and God as to what to do in each situation.
 
Our mind is the battleground for these struggles. Peace alludes us till an answer to the dilemma is accepted in the soul. We are told to guard our hearts, watch our motives by the Holy Spirits promptings constantly. No one gets away from these struggles, though some are certainly more successful in finding peace with God in them.  However we are called to warfare in the spiritual realm in order to conquer these difficulties. They don't go away by ignoring them, they are there for a purpose.
 
I trust you Lord to show the right answer. Show me how to wait on you to find the answer. Show me anything that hinders your will.  Amen.
