"LIES IN THE KORAN"

Dear John & Doves,

I was reading this article called "Look Inside the Koran and the Bible (Part 2)" at  http://www.zenit.org/english/visualizza.phtml?sid=57464 and the article states, "At one point the Koran says God asked Jesus, "Did you tell people to take you and your mother as two gods?" -- a question that Jesus answered in Chapter 5, Verse 116, saying, "It is not given me to say what is untrue." Clearly, in the Islamic view, both Jesus and Mary are human beings."  However, we know that Jesus always tell the truth because he says in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father but by me." Jesus was not a god and he would never tell anyone to take his mother as a god because the Lord, God in Exodus 20:3-5 said, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."  Jesus was also called the Word, and "the Word was God."  John 1:1-3 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made."  We also know that it was Jesus who created all things because in regards to Jesus, Colossians 1:14-17 also states, "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principaliteies, or powers: all things were created by him and for him. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."
This article also gives another Koran chapter and verse in the Koran showing that the Muslims believe the God of the Christians, Jews & Muslims are one God, which is a lie. "Chapter 29, verse 46, proclaims, "Do not dispute with the People of the Book (Christians & Jews) save in the fairest way; except for those of them who are evildoers. And say: 'We believe in what has been sent down to us and what has been sent down to you. Our God and your God are one and to Him we are submissive.'"   It is also a lie that Muslims believe what had been sent down to Christians and Jews and at the same believe what has been sent down to them in the Koran because the Bible and the Koran contradict each other.  You'd have to be a double minded person to think both the Bible and Koran are correct when they are not.  They don't believe that Jesus is the Son of God; yet they claim that 'We believe in what has been sent down to us and what has been sent down to you.'  1 John 2:22-23 says, "Who is a liar that denieth Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also."  There is no way that the Muslims can believe Jesus is the Son of God according to the Bible, and at the same time believe according the Koran that God has no son.  They also do not pray to the same God as Christians; they pray to a god named Allah.  Their statement that they believe in the Bible and in the Koran is a lie.
