"REPLY TO MARIE KOMAR --
YOUR CHALLENGE"
Dear Marie, The first
sentence in the final paragraph at the bottom of this page in italics is
false because it should read Allah, and not God. I think that sentence
should be changed to read "According to Muslim teachings, Allah (not God)
first revealed his word in the Qur'an to the prophet, Muhammad, during
the month of Ramadan." Muslims pray to and worship Allah, another
god while we pray to and worship God, the Father and Jesus Christ, the
Son of God. Whenever I see the word "God," I think of God, the Father.
God, the Father, and Allah, another god, are not both God; and the Qur'an
had to have been inspired by Satan who is behind the worship of other gods.
The Muslims also believe that Allah has no son, and that Jesus is just
a prophet. 1 John 2:22-23 says, "Who is a liar but he that denieth
that Jesus is the Christ: He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and
the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he
that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." Do you think God, the
Father would be pleased or displeased to know that someone claiming to
be a Christian said that God first revealed his word in the Qur'an to the
prophet, Muhammad, during the month of Ramadan when Satan was behind it?
The Muslims don't believe that God, the Father of Jesus Christ, His Son,
first revealed his word in the Qur'an to the prophet, Muhammad, during
the month of Ramadan. They believe Allah, who has no son, first revealed
his word in the Qur'an to the prophet Muhammad. I
also left out the word "Holy" in front of Qur'an because the only book
holy to a Christian is the Holy Bible because "All scripture is given by
inspiration of God..." according to 2 Timothy 3:16. A Christian is
supposed to please God, not man. I don't think that God, the Father,
would be pleased by any Christian calling the Qur'an a "Holy" book just
to please Muslims even though the Muslims might think that the Qur'an is
a holy book. As for the final sentence in the
paragraph below, I think that any family in the world that has had a family
member or friend killed by a terrorist of the Muslim faith would be offended
by the words "All the world continues to benefit from this faith"
and its achievements." Those who lost loved ones are part of "all the world"
and certainly didn't benefit from the Muslim faith. Maybe the final
sentence could have been reworded differently by saying "Much of the world
continues to benefit from Muslim achievements" in the areas that you named
in your post yesterday at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/july2004/mariek715-2.htm
However, I would have also left out the words "benefit from this faith"
in the last sentence due to the fact that the Muslim faith is leading anyone
who believes in it to Hell, and "Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father but by him." "According
to Muslim teachings, God first revealed His word in the Holy Qur'an to
the prophet, Muhammad, during the month of Ramadan. That word has guided
billions of believers across the centuries, and those believers built a
culture of learning and literature and science. All the world continues
to benefit from this faith and its achievements." - George Bush 12/13/01 God
