Hello to all Doves from Canada.  Am vacationing in beautiful Vancouver Island 30 km. north of Victoria.  What a beautiful country, what a peaceful laid-back civiliized place.  Best of all, temp in the summer is in 70's. in stark contrast to Ariaona 110 temps.
 
But I am sort of chagrined by the cultural ignoring of God and Christ up in in the popular media here.  On the TV channels routinely available, not one is a religious or Christian channel.  On Sundays, not one worship program anywhere.  Except if you use the Direct TV satellite  system where you can then access United States Christan programs.
 
The news casts are especially slanted and left-winged.  That the United States' presence in Iraq is wrong is an absolute given up here.  The vote controversy on marriage amendment in the United States was reported as if there were still backward elements of bigoted holdouts still opposing the march of progress.
 
Very infuriating.  I don't see how Canadian Christians stand it.
