"Re: Temple fund & curious questions"

TEMPLE FUND--If you are interested in donations to groups interested in Temple--Temple Mount Faithful is a good one.  I prefer giving to people rather than buildings.  There are many needy in Israel, victims of bombings, etc.
Re:  SACRIFICES--not all sacrifices were for sin--there will be sacrifices for all the reasons there were before; only the Yom Kippur and Pesach were completely fulfilled.  Read Leviticus for clarification.
1)I agree with the robes being like Jesus' and made of light.  This may explain Satan appearing as an angel of light.?
2)As to bathing costumes at time of Jesus--working people(fisherman etc.) usually had a short tunic under their robe.  Remember when Peter was fishing and caught nothing and Jesus called him?  He put on his cloak and swam the short distance to shore.  Probably didn't think it was respectful to come in to Jesus with just his skivvies on(;-D)!!
3)Underwear is a relatively new invention(elastic, you see).  But people wore more modest type clothing then, anyway.  The priests who wore linen breeches had to climb up to place the blood on the altar, and you know what happens to a skirt on a ladder(YIKES!)
AS A Teacher of my children and others, I like to remind them that there are not many really stupid questions.  That is how we learn.
