Another Logical Date
for the Rapture
Last August (2020) I
posted an article entitled A
Logical Date for the Rapture in which I stated
that I firmly believed
the Rapture of the Church would happen precisely 40
sideral months after the
Revelation 12 Sign.That
proposed date just
happened to fall on the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah)
for 2020.It
all seemed to align so perfectly.Obviously and
unfortunately, I was wrong.
I believe that my
reasoning in arriving at that date was
sound. However, I should have used months from our modern
Gregorian calendar
instead of sideral months.If I had
counted months on the Gregorian calendar, then the Rapture
of the Church will
occur on January 23, 2021.
God told us that He
does nothing on this earth without first
revealing it to His servants, the prophets (Amos 3:7). How
could He possibly
allow the greatest event since the crucifixion to occur
without first telling
us when it will happen??
Doesn’t the Bible
directly and emphatically tell us that
we can even know the very hour of the Rapture of the
Church if we watch?
Remember
therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and
repent. Therefore, if
you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and
you will not know what
hour I will come upon you.Revelation
3:3 NKJV
Taking a
step back in order to see the “big picture,”
it would seem to me that God will tell us in a way that is
very straight
forward, simple, and easy to understand by everybody when
the rapture will take
place.
I am
convinced the Revelation 12 Sign was all
about the Rapture of the Church.It was a
unique event in all of history.It was
also a signpost.A
point to measure
from.A
warning to get ready.A warning to repent.
The
question becomes, how far forward from
the Revelation 12 Sign do we measure (and why)?In this article, I am suggesting precisely 40
months based on the
Gregorian calendar.
How did I come up with
the number 40?
Numbers in the Bible
are very important.Forty
is the number for testing.For example:
·Jesus
fasted for 40 days before starting His ministry.
·Moses and
Elijah also fasted for 40 days in the desert.
·The
Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years before
entering the Promised
Land.
·The Bible
tells us that Ezekiel laid on his right side for 40 days
to bear the iniquity
of Judah’s sins.
·Three of
Israel’s most famous kings each ruled for 40 years –
Solomon, David, and
Saul.
·Goliath
taunted the armies of Israel for 40 days before being
killed by young
David.
·God
killed every living thing by raining on the earth for 40
days and 40 nights
during the Great Flood.
·When God
proclaimed judgment against Egypt, He said that Egypt
would be desolate for 40
years.
·God gave
Nineveh 40 days to repent or be destroyed.
·Israel
was in captivity to the Philistines for 40 years.
·The spies
that Moses sent to check on the Promised Land were there
for 40 days.
·Speaking
about Moses, he was on Mount Sinai for 40 days the first
time he went up to get
the ten commandments from God and again for 40 days the
second time he went up
the mountain.
There are
many other examples.The number 40 appears 159 times in the
Bible.Perhaps
God is trying to tell us
something.
James
Brownlow pointed out something very
noteworthy to me.He
found it
interesting that January 23, 2021, is 40 days from the
mid-point of Hanukkah in
2020 (December 14th).It is
also 40 days from the total solar eclipse that took place
on December 14th.
One last
coincidence he noted is that
December 14, 2020, is 40 days from the midpoint between
the two Great American
Eclipses, which occurred on August 21, 2017, and will
occur again on April 8,
2024.
The beauty of the
Revelation 12 Sign as a signpost and a
point to measure forward from is that it is in the heavens
for the entire
population of the earth to observe.Likewise, it can also be understood by all of
mankind regardless of what
language each person may speak.This
entire concept is beautifully simplistic.
In another article I
previously posted, Prophecy
Unfolding: What Just Happened, I put forth my
theory on what just
happened in the 2020 US presidential election and my
thoughts on how it relates
to the seven End Times kings of Revelation 17:10-11.This piece of
the End Times puzzle seems to
mesh quite nicely with my attempt to determine the timing
of the rapture by
measuring forward from the Revelation 12 Sign.
Revelation 17:10-11
talks about seven end-times
kings.It
does not tell us what nation(s)
they rule over or what it is that they have in common.What it does
tell us is that king number
seven only rules for a notably short time and that king
number 6 is the same
person as king number eight, as well as being the
anti-Christ.
10 And there are
seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is
not yet come; and
when he cometh, he must continue a short space. 11 And the
beast that was, and
is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and
goeth into
perdition. Revelation 17:10-11 KJV
Perhaps
these kings are the Presidents of the
United States who attempted to divide the Land of Israel.If so, they
would be (in order):
1.Jimmie
Carter
2.Ronald
Reagan
3.George H.
Bush
4.Bill
Clinton
5.George W.
Bush
6.Barack
Obama and his Vice-President Joe Biden
7.Donald
Trump
8.Joe Biden
Was Donald Trump the
seventh king of Revelation
17:10-11?If
so, he was certainly a king
who continued a short space (one term instead of two).God allowed Satan and his
supernatural forces of evil to fulfill an ancient prophecy
in what should have
been a landslide victory for President Trump.
I
believe there is another scripture that points toward
Donald Trump as being the
seventh king of Revelation 17:
I searched for a man
among them who would build up the wall and stand in the
gap before Me for the
land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no
one. Ezekiel 22:30.
I think that we
will all agree that Donald Trump will go down in history
as the President who
was known for “building up a wall” (on our border with
Mexico).
Please keep an open
mind for just a few more minutes and
consider this:I
would now like to put
forth my theory that Joe Biden is both the sixth and the
eighth king of
Revelation 17:10-11.If I am correct,
then according to Revelation 17:10-11, Sleepy Joe Biden is
also the
anti-Christ.Furthermore,
I would submit
that Barack Obama was Satan’s copy of John the Baptist,
whose ministry was
preparatory for the coming Messiah.John
the Baptist was called by God to prepare the way for the
coming of Christ.I
believe that Barack Obama was called by
Satan to prepare the way for the coming of the person who
the Bible calls: The
Son of Perdition, the Evil One, the Little Horn, the
Beast, the Dragon, the
Prince of the Power of the Air, the anti-Christ, and by
many other names.
We must now ask
ourselves the question: Did Barack Obama
act in such a manner that prepared the way for the coming
anti-Christ?I
have often thought that Obama, himself, was
the anti-Christ.However,
he seems to
have faded from the scene.He is no
longer the President of the United States and, therefore,
no longer the most
powerful man in the world.If Obama’s
role was not to be the anti-Christ, then is it possible
that his role was to be
the one who prepared the way for the anti-Christ?
I have been fervently
studying eschatology since 1998 and
I have always felt very strongly that when the identity of
the anti-Christ would
finally be revealed, it would be a person who we never
suspected.Did
President Obama act in such a manner as
to draw attention to himself in order to distract us from
thinking that Joe
Biden could possibly be the anti-Christ?
At this point I feel
the need to ask myself: Did Donald
Trump lose a fair, just, and honest election or were
supernatural forces and
factors in play?When
I ask myself this
question, I am reminded of Ephesians 6:12:
For we wrestle not
against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against
the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in heavenly
places.Ephesians
6:12 KJV.
Unless something
drastic changes, Joe Biden will be
inaugurated as the 46th President of the United
States on January 20,
2021.Three
days later I believe there
is an excellent possibility that the Rapture of the Church
will take place.
Three days is an
interesting time frame in the
Bible.Jonah
was in the belly of the
whale for three days.Jesus was in the
tomb for 3 days.And
now I foresee an
excellent chance that the rapture will take place three
days after the
anti-Christ officially, formally, legally, and
supernaturally comes to power.
I see all of this as
being predictive of the timing of
the rapture.When
the anti-Christ is
enthroned the Rapture of the Church will be at hand.
The closer we get to
the Rapture of the Church and,
ultimately, to the Second Return of Christ, the more I
would expect pieces of
the puzzle to not only continue to appear, but to fit
together as well.I
believe the Revelation 12 Sign was a huge message
in the sky announcing the imminent arrival of the Rapture
of the Church and it
was also a point to measure forward from to determine when
the rapture will
occur.
Will January 23, 2021,
be the date of the rapture?We shall soon see.
