My Dream About the
Timing of the Rapture
Somewhere around
the first part of December 2011, I had a dream that I am
absolutely convinced
came from the Lord.It
was a two-part
dream.The first
part dealt with
problems I was dealing with in my personal life and the second
part dealt with
the timing of the rapture.
For approximately
23 years I was a successful general building contractor who
built 100 custom single-family
homes in Southern California.Then the
economy collapsed and I lost the beautiful 5,200 square foot
home I had built
for my wife and myself, along with our model home, and a
rental home that I had
also built.I was
in debt for well over
a million dollars.My
wife and I lost
almost everything.
I was
devastated.In my
hopelessness, I prayed
for the Lord to rescue me with the rapture.In fact, I did a lot of praying and crying out for
help.
We moved out of
California to a faraway place where we had friends.Shortly after
arriving there I had a
dream.It only
lasted about 10 seconds,
but it was, I am certain, God’s answer to my prayers.Even though this
dream was short, it spoke volumes
to me and I knew precisely what it meant.
At the time I was
in a very light sleep in the early morning and I could tell
that I was just
about to wake up after a long night of very deep and restful
sleep.
In the first part
of the dream, I saw my car parked in front of my favorite
restaurant (Red
Lobster) along the curb of the busy street where it is
located.The curb
in front of the restaurant was
painted red, which meant No Parking, except for the one space
that I was
in.In fact, this
red curb ran up and
slightly under my front and rear bumpers.
I instantly
understood what this meant.God had
placed me in a place where my wife and I would be safe and it
was a place where
God would provide for all of our needs.The message was so crystal clear to me.I also felt a deep sense of relief, safety, and
security that is
exceptionally difficult for me to put into words.
The second part of
my dream dealt with the timing of the rapture.I cannot explain how I am so certain of this except to
say that I
instantly knew that it was my answer from God regarding the
timing of the
rapture.
In the dream I was
counting out loud while doing jumping jacks, which is a type
of exercise.My
dream started when I had just counted
number 16, and then 17, and then 18, and then 19, and finally
number 20. Each
one was louder and more over-emphasized
that the previous one.I
stopped doing
the jumping jacks (and counting) on number 20.Then I woke up.
The message was
crystal clear to me:The
timing of the
rapture has to do with the number 20.The
counting stops on the number 20.God
had, in His infinite kindness and mercy, given me a clue.A piece of the
puzzle.I felt
honored and I also felt
frustrated.Twenty
what????It
wasn’t 20 days, 20 weeks, or even 20
months.
My dream occurred
at a point in my life where I was very weak.If I had known that 20 most probably meant the year
2020, I would not
have had the strength to hang on.
Over the past few
weeks I am beginning to see that the 20 jumping jacks in my
dream were, I
believe, pointing to September 20, 2020. which is the Feast of
Trumpets, also
known as Rosh Hashanah.
I have always felt
in my heart that the Feast of Trumpets was the most logical
time for the
rapture to happen.I
have also felt
that, although the Feast of Trumpets is a 2-day event each
year, the rapture
will happen toward the end of the second day.The reason I believe that it will happen at the end of
the second day is
that God will wait to the very last moment to get the very
last soul before
slamming the gate shut.
Many excellent
articles have been written on the appropriateness of the
rapture happening on
the Feast of Trumpets.The
reasons given
in these articles are far too numerous and detailed to be
listed here.
Paul, himself,
even seems to declare that the resurrection of the righteous
dead (also known
as the rapture) will happen at the Last Trumpet, which is
another name for the
moed known as the Feast of Trumpets:
Behold, I shew
you a mystery; We shall not all sleep,
but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at
the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and
the dead shall be
raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Cor 15:51-52.
(Emphasis added).
The Feast of
Trumpets is also known as The Day of Shouting as well as The
Day of Blowing the
Trumpet.Just
look at what else Paul had
to say about this:
15 According
to the Lord’s word, we tell you that
we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the
Lord, will
certainly not precede those who have fallen
asleep. 16 For the Lord
himself will come down from heaven, with a loud
command, with the
voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and
the
dead in Christ will rise first.17 After that, we who are
still alive and
are left will be caught up together with them in the
clouds to meet
the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the
Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one
another with these
words. 1 Thess. 4:15-18. (Emphasis added).
The question now
becomes: In what year will the rapture occur?The Bible has a lot to say about conditions in the Last
Days.The list is
too long to include here, but all
of these conditions seem to be converging and they are
converging on this very
moment in time.
I also believe
that the Revelation 12 Sign was all about the rapture of the
Church and it was
also an announcement by God that it is about to take place.For those who have
not read my previous
article on 5 Doves that posted on January 12, 2020, the
Revelation 12 Sign was
fulfilled on September 23, 2017, which happened to be the
Feast of Trumpets for
that year.I
believe that the Revelation
12 Sign was a message to mankind that the rapture is about to
happen and that
it will happen on the Feast of Trumpets of some year.
The Revelation 12
Sign happened almost 3 years ago.Numbers are important in the Bible.The number 3 is very significant as far as numbers are
concerned.
As of tonight, the
Feast of Trumpets for 2020 is 248 days away.That is just a little over 8 months from now.I sincerely hope
that I am right about all of
this.We shall
certainly find out very
soon.
