The following site provides interesting up-to-date info
on the Shroud and evidence to support its authenticity.
The blood on the Shroud is shown to be type AB which is
relatively rare for Europeans (3%) but common for Jews
in the Middle East (18%). Of course ancient blood does not
contain antibodies, like type AB so there was some doubt for
a while. However, examination of the King Tut blood was used
to confirm the type AB on the Shroud.
It is also interesting that there is no image underneath
the blood stains. If an artist had prepared the image this
would have been nearly impossible to do since he would have
had to anticipate the exact places for the blood stains
(which are many) and protected them for later staining with
blood.
The image itself is very thin and resides on the top of
the fibers of the cloth, about the limit of visible light,
0.6 micrometers, and some of the image is invisible at
around 0.2 micrometers or about 1/5 of a thousandth of
a millimeter.
The image appears to be the result of a burst of
high-energy radiation according to scientific experts in the
field of quantum physics and the burst probably lasted only
50 nanoseconds in duration.
The conclusions we can draw about the resurrection
process from these findings are:
1) the resurrection process is very fast, taking only 50
nanoseconds,
2) the radiation produced during resurrection can be
imprinted on cloth, but only in a very thin layer of
coloration,
3) the image is mainly visible to human sight, but some
portions may be invisible.
BTW the blink of an eye takes about 300-400 milliseconds

which is more than enough time for the 50 nanosecond
resurrection process to occur, since 1 millisecond equals 1
million nanoseconds (1 millisecond = 0.001 second and 1
nanosecond = 0.000 000 001 second)! When the resurrection
takes place there will be no time to think about it!
