"Freedom and Liberty for All!!!"

Hello Doves!  This is something dear to me that I would like to share with my closest brothers and sisters.  I pray that it is a blessing to you in some way!  It sure has been to me and what a wonderful journey!!

Do you struggle from time to time with works, doubt, fear, and similar feelings of condemnation? Have you had to work for love your whole life and now you struggle to truly and fully receive the love of Jesus Christ?  If this is true for you as it has been in my life, then the unwavering peace, joy, rest, confidence, etc. that you so desperately want is simply not consistent in your life.  I have good news -- it absolutely can be!!  This writing is my own personal revelation with this very issue!  I pray that it ministers to those who also struggle in this area.  Liberty and freedom is waiting!!

Much love to you all!

Do you live in the full knowledge of the blood of the everlasting covenant?  Do you live in freedom and liberty with full assurance that you belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, and nothing can separate you from Him?  Do you entrust yourself to Him, to His finished works of the cross, to completely form Himself in you?  Or do you sometimes find yourself in the works of slavery and bondage due to doubt buried deep in your heart that maybe you are just not quite there; maybe you don’t do enough like all the others who are surely His bride; maybe you wonder why you are not receiving visions, dreams, and prophetic words like some of the others?  Do you ever fear that you will be left behind when Jesus comes for His own?  Honestly, do you worry about this; do you find yourself in despair and wonder at times?  If so, there is hope; there is!!  There is a truth that has been sure and alive all along, but for some reason, some of us – the very elect of Christ – have determined that it is not enough.  We have determined that we must work and work hard so that we can be sure in our hearts and emotions that we are in fact His.  Well, we have been deceived!!  It is not our works that assure us; it is Jesus and Him alone!!  The covenant that binds us to Jesus is everlasting and cannot be broken, and we are a part of that covenant.  May we understand, receive, and live in this covenant all the remaining days of our journey and wait here on this earth and never ever doubt again!!  May we rest wholeheartedly in what is already accomplished trusting our Lord with all our hearts, souls, minds, and bodies.  He is worthy of this, and He wants this!!  I believe this is why He asked the very question, “When I return, will I find faith on the earth?”  Yes, the elect of Jesus Christ, must say, “Yes Lord, I believe you, and I continuously trust in what you did for me; I rest in your finished work!!”  This trust and faith in Him will not only bring us an unwavering state of peace, joy, hope, and rest, but it will be the fulfillment of our part of the covenant where we are a faithful bride (instead of an unfaithful bride) to Jesus by trusting Him always; for without faith, it is impossible to please Him.
At this point, I would like to introduce you to an in-depth study on “The Blood of the Everlasting Covenant” presented by Charles Spurgeon.  This study is absolutely liberating and will remind us of what has already been accomplished through this everlasting blood covenant and who we are in Him.  For those of you who struggle from time to time with doubt and resulting works, please take the time to read this; it will truly open your eyes to that which the devil has attempted to steal.  It is the type of writing that you will hold dear to your heart and may want to read often.  You may find the sermon by clicking the following link:
Once you have read the sermon, please continue on …
So, how do you feel now?  Do you understand more clearly who you are in Christ?  Do you feel excitement in your heart?!!  I know I did, and because of this, I began to delve deeper into this very basic truth that has somewhat been distorted over the years.  The truth???  Yes, the truth of LIBERTY and FREEDOM in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior!!  Oh how I have longed for this for years.  Although I love the Lord Jesus so much, I have found myself back and forth and in and out of peace, always wondering what was wrong with me and why I couldn’t just rest in the love of my Lord. I had come to the point that I was just so tired of the instability and feeling as if I needed to do more – and more!  There is nothing that I can do!!  He has done it all, and all He wants from me now is to live this truth through faith!!  (Remember, this life we live now we live BY FAITH in the Son of God who loves us and gave Himself for us!!)  And when I live this truth, I rest, I wait, and I trust in Him to do all the work.  When I am trusting Him, then I wait on Him to move in me to do that which He has determined for me to do since the foundation of the world.  He has already determined it all, so surely He will guide me into that which has been destined for me.  From there, then I simply obey His leading.  When all of this is in place and flowing as He desires, my peace and rest is immovable and unchanging.  When I bask in this, then my heart overflows with gratitude for His creation of me for Himself.  I love Him, and I want to spend time with Him, I want to surrender to Him, I long for His return for me, and in all this I please Him with my faith and resulting obedience!!  My fellowship with Him is uninterrupted, even during the dry spells and valleys.  My trust in Him is solid as a rock; therefore, I never lose my assurance.  I know and I rest assured that I am His and He is mine!!  Wow, what a wonderful place to be!!
So, now that I have poured out my heart about this wonderful truth, what does the word of God have to say about this, about LIBERTY in particular?  As I was reading Galatians last night, I came upon several mentions of this, and then when I further studied this, I found many other references to this all in the same context.  The point here is that we have liberty and we have freedom in Jesus Christ, and what is the by-product of liberty and freedom… peace and rest; the very thing that Jesus said He came to give us!
Before we look at the scriptures concerning this, let’s look at some of these key words.  “Liberty”…  what does this mean exactly?  Liberty is freedom!!  Freedom from control, freedom from restriction, freedom from confinement, freedom from captivity, freedom from obligation, and freedom from the power of right of doing!  Doing??  Yes, freedom from doing or freedom from works (and that is OUR works, not His works).
Not only does the definition of the word “liberty” include the word “freedom", but when I looked up the word “liberty” in the Strong’s Concordance, there was only one word, a Greek word, to describe it, and that word was also “freedom”!  So to take it a bit further, what does “freedom” mean?  It means exemption from slavery, servitude (or bondage), or confinement.  “Exemption” means that it does not apply --- so works, bondage, confinement, guilt, condemnation, etc., do not apply to us -- ever!!
Did you grasp all of that?  When I read this myself, I began to think of how so many in the body of Christ have distorted this gift – the gift of liberty and freedom.  If we are truly free as the Word states and as these definitions state, then why does it seem that our joy and peace is sometimes fleeting, unstable, and wavering in the wind?  It simply should not be!!  And this is why Jesus asks if He will really find FAITH on the earth when He returns.  Does this make you think?
So, now to solidify this truth with the real truth – the Word that washes us, examines us, and changes us – let’s look at the supporting scriptures.
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 2Cor 3:17
Commentary:  When we are feeling doubtful, condemned, and downcast, is this the Spirit of the Lord?  Absolutely not!  Let’s call it what it is…  it is the spirit of the evil one.  We must overcome this spirit with the Spirit of Liberty – that which lives and dwells within us, and we do this by simply believing Him.  Renewing our mind with His truths will cast out the spirit of bondage and the resulting downcast feelings that overcome us at times.  If we are continuously walking in the Spirit, which we are commanded to do, then we will continuously walk in liberty!
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Gal 5:1
Commentary:  If we are going to stand fast in His liberty, again, we must focus on Jesus, our liberator!  The yoke of bondage is very simply the yoke of works, and this yoke will exhaust you, discourage you, and rob you of the very liberating rest that Jesus freely gives.  If we “stand fast”, then we are firm, standing with our feet shod with the gospel of peace!  Even further, I looked up the meaning of “stand fast”, and this is what I found: This is a common command in the military, and it basically means, "Wait here for further instructions." You can move around some, and the degree to which you are free to move is revealed by other commands, like "At ease" and "Rest" to name a few.  Wow, pretty interesting, huh?
For you brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Gal 5:13
Commentary:  We have been CALLED to liberty, called to freedom, called to rest!!  There is nothing more wonderful than this, and this is why Jesus said that He came to give us life and life abundantly!  When we are resting in the love and promises of Jesus, we are peaceful, restful, and full of joy!  This is true life!  When something is alive in its fullest, it is vibrant and in its most beautiful state.  When we are alive in Christ, then His love pours from within us to others.  Remember, this is our calling, and it is irrevocable!!  And obviously, His true liberty in us would never give us a license for freedom in the world’s sense; it is His freedom, and that is better than anything the world can offer.
…because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption (or decay) into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Rom 8:21
Commentary:  I believe the liberty mentioned here is the glorious freedom of Heaven that we and the creation will soon experience.  The interesting thing is that the same Greek word “freedom” is used here in this scripture as in the others.  This tells me that we can have His liberty and freedom here, now, on this earth, as well as in Heaven.  As we are growing in Him now outside of Heaven, our spirits are maturing, becoming more immovable, and are being prepared for incorruption; we are delivered from corruption or decay!  And when I think of corruption and decay, I think of a spirit that is condemned, exhausted, and stressed out – all from a lack of faith and resulting works!!
But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. James 1:25
Commentary:  “…and is not a forgetful hearer…”  I believe this is what happens to many of us; we simply forget.  When a works mentality is engrained in us, for whatever reason (upbringing, lack of love, etc.), then it is very easy to forget God’s promises about our liberty and freedom.  If we can accept these truths and engrain them in our spirits and souls by the strength of Jesus, then they will eventually override the other, and when this happens, we hear the Lord better, we respond to His call, and we do HIS works!  And obviously, doing His works is obedience, and obedience always results in blessing.  Remember, “looking into the perfect law of liberty” means that we look to Jesus and not to ourselves.  We must know His promises, believe them, and live them – in a sense, we are looking to them and them only.
After reading and studying all of this, there is just no argument.  Jesus means what He says – we are free indeed!!  Can we live here and stay here in this wonderful freedom and liberty?  We must, and if we have true faith, we will!!  So what else do we have when we abide in Him and His promises and rest in His faithfulness and finished work?  We have CONFIDENCE!!  We have boldness!!  And this confidence and boldness does not waver; it is ours for the keeping, and it is another wonderful gift and attribute that God gives to us as a result of our faith.
I remember studying 1 John some time ago and really being taken aback by having the scriptures that talk about having “confidence” to stand before the Son of Man!  When I meditated upon this, I wondered if I really would be confident, or if I would cower down with my head held low.  Can you truly say today that you have confidence and boldness to stand before the Son of Man and our Almighty God and Father?  I pray that you do!  If you truly believe and stand firm in Jesus and His finished work, then yes, you will have confidence, and this is pleasing to Him!  What does the Word specifically say about this?
… in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. Eph 3:12
… but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.  Heb 3:6
For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end… Heb 3:14
Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.  Heb 10:35
And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.   1John 2:28
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.  1John 3:21

I know that I want, crave, and long for faith, joy, rest, peace, confidence, and that which is unwavering!  I want this for myself, and I want this to glorify God.  I want this so others can see and know that our God is faithful and worthy of our complete surrender.  And I can have this!!  You can have this – all of the time!  You can know for sure that you are His faithful Bride, and you will be going with Him when He comes for His own!  You can live each day with joy and peace, regardless of your circumstances, not worrying about what you should be doing or how you should be doing it; not comparing yourself to other members of the body and what they are doing or what gifts they have been given.  You can rest every day knowing that He will lead you into what He wants you to do.  If you are not doing what someone else is doing or are not focusing on what someone else is focusing on or are not receiving the same gifts as others, you can completely rest knowing that you are right where the Lord Himself wants you!!  Trust Him to lead you, to keep you, to grow you, to teach you, and to bless you as He sees fit!  Oh what peace you can have resting in the arms of a faithful, loving, all-powerful Jesus who chose you from the foundation of the world to be HIS, to do HIS work, and to be with Him forever and ever!
As a final note and something that is important to mention… We all know that the Word tells us that faith without works is dead. When we have faith in the Lord Jesus, we will have works; however, the difference is that the works are HIS works and not our own.  His works may be challenging at times, but they do not ever bring bondage or heaviness.  His works are accompanied by His energy, His time, and His effort through you, and they always bring about His desired result.  Your trust and faith and resulting obedience is all that is needed.  Rest in this and have peace, beloved and chosen child of the Most High God and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  This is His desire for you and for me!  Hallelujah!
My prayer is that this writing and study has blessed you.  “The Blood of the Everlasting Covenant” was a life-changer for me.  Everything I have written here today has been a result of what the Lord did with me through that sermon as well as other things he placed in my path while on this journey.  This was His ordained journey for me in His ordained time.  I will just bask in this now as I move forward trusting Him completely and having FAITH when He comes to get me very soon!
Blessed be the Beautiful Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord!

Hello again Doves!  This is just a very small addition to my "Liberty and Freedom for All" writing that should also be posted at the same time as this one.

I feel it is important to share this scripture as it really is a basis of our liberty and freedom and the basis of my writing.

Hebrews 13:20-21
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete (perfect) in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.  Amen.

Our Lord really does deserve all praise, glory, honor, and trust!
