"Scriptural Basis for the Pre-Tribulation Rapture"

Scriptural Basis for the Pre-Tribulation Rapture

  1. Resurrection/Rapture, followed by the Tribulation:
    Isaiah 26:19-21

  2. The scriptures in this section utilize the actual meaning of the Hebrew (you may have to do some word studies for the first two verses in each passage). In each instance, the first one or two verses reveal the Rapture, followed by the Tribulation:
    Psalm 12, Job 34:20-27, Isaiah 57, Micah 7, Amos 8

  3. These scriptures show the concealing/rapture of the saints, followed by the "Day of the Lord":
    Malachi 3:16-4:1, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:4

  4. We are exempt from the wrath (as opposed to judgment) of God, which is the Tribulation Period:
    Romans 5:9, 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9, Romans 2:5-9, Revelation 6:16,17

  5. The Rapture must occur before the Antichrist is revealed, which is before the Tribulation Week:
    2 Thessalonians 2:6,7, Daniel 7:24; 9:27

  6. Jesus said it will be as in the days of Noah and Lot who were brought to safety before the judgment - not like the days of Daniel who was "protected through it:"
    Luke 17:26-30, Matthew 24:37-41

  7. A sure and certain escape:
    2 Peter 2:4-9, 2 Timothy 4:18, Psalm 97:10, Revelation 3:10
