Could it apply to the Presidential Election this year in November???
 
Might people be more willing to STAY with the current president, than vote in a guy (Romney probably) they DON'T KNOW??????
 
(Or will it not matter because voters have found out that they CAN vote IN the person who will give them the most money back...ie, poor people will vote Democratic because of this alone??)
 
Did this old adage of the devil you know.......apply to Bush in  2004??  Is that why Bush got re-elected....at least in part?
 
 
Let me get on my soapbox here......
(You know......I do seriously REGRET that Bush and Cheney seriously UNDER-ESTIMATED their exit strategy in Iraq.  And in retrospect, they should have been more concerned with IRAN......now that Iran is near to having a Nuke bomb.  Who was our BIGGER PROBLEM then?  Iraq???   or Iran?????  UGH...what a mess!!  And then you have the MESS in Afghanistan.....What is the TOTAL cost of both wars????   Not sure......web searches indicate $700 Billion for Iraq.......maybe $3.7 TRILLION for both?? )
And what did WE, the USA, get for this??  A governement in Iraq OR Afghanistan who is BE-HOLDING TO US????   Who will be our CLOSE ALLY????  Certainly not.....  Iraq is already in talks with Iran....cozying up.  And the Pres of Afghanistan???  He'd dump us in a heartbeat, when we leave.......   OH< WHAT A MESSSSSSSS!!  
 
WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... We have MISS-SPENT TRILLIONS.....not wasted....but certainly we have INVESTED it imprudently in various affairs around the world.....FOR DECADES.
 
Anyway....
 
FORTUNATELY......GOD IS IN CONTROL....and it IS, ALL FOR A REASON.  It has ALL worked to forward GOD's agenda in these end times........that is the ONLY way this all makes any sense.  And the USA is, and has been, a big instrument used by God......even if events have worked our to the detriment of the USA........   even so........

PS.....ALOT could happen in the world in the next 11 months that could change EVERYTHING about the upcoming elections in November..
 
1) Going after Iran....whether it's the US or Israel or BOTH
and
2) Then there is the aftermath of that attack.....  Iran's retaliation, impact on oil prices and impact on the world economy....
3) The Rapture yet by September, 2012????
4) North Korea and new leadership...
5) Floundering US and World economies....
 
etc, etc, etc
