I was baptized on April 12, 1992 because the Spirit of the Lord gnawed at my heart so strongly, that I had to go down the aisle.   I made a confession of faith but yet I was not discipled and was confused.   However with this, the Lord remained faithful to me and came to me in 1998 and in 2004 to disciple me and teach me.   He corrected my incorrect beliefs of salvation.  

Anyways I was really contemplating the rapture and I my son had seen in a mighty dream in October 2010 that when we get to Heaven, we are walked through the River of Life.   And this event signified our transition to Heaven into everlasting life.   The memories of the old life of this Earth, the painful memories are washed away.   And so I realized WHY Jesus has us to be baptized on this Earth, it is a foreshadowing of our entrance to Heaven at the River of Life.......just like the Jewish Feasts are a foreshadowing of Jesus death, resurrection, second coming and millennial reign.  

Anyways if you have not been baptized, and you are healthy enough to get out and do it, now is a good time!
