We all know that there are two types of dreams:  veiled and unveiled.   Unveiled dreams are for prophets like Dr. David Owuor which happen in sequence exactly as they say.   Born again Christians get veiled dreams which are a puzzle piece, and they are from God and sometimes we misinterpret their meaning, and the sequence of events are not always in order, and you usually cannot gauge the time between events.

Visions play out as a television screen and you see it for real, it is not a thought in your head.   Some people have a ball of light that comes in front of them to let them know a vision is coming.   Some visions are in black and white, others are in color, and some are in the form of a cartoon so that you are not afraid.  Sometimes visions can just be words that are being written on a wall or in the air.   You see these physically like your own hand.

A word of knowledge is a thought that comes into your mind and you have an idea that was not there before.   A thought of a beautiful heavenly flower, a heavenly animal, or a word you never had before.   You do not physically see these things, but they have been implanted into your mind from the Holy Spirit.   These are not visions. 

My son has seen Jesus two times while in the kitchen within the last week.   He has only seen Jesus in his dreams until now, this year. 
Once my son said He was standing behind me with baby angels.
Another time Jesus was walking around me playing peek-a-boo and laughing asking me personally Do you see Me, Now Here I Am.   And He would go from side to side around me playing! 

My son does not see things like this often.   For example he saw the arch angel Gabriel in a tuxedo with the trumpet to his mouth.   Most of the time he only sees white clouds or black clouds on people.   He will say, stay away from that store mom, stay away from that car mom and he is always right.
