The mainstream media is not covering this story at all!  Not unusual!  Our media has an agenda.  Some stories get covered and some are purposely not covered.  I will not address here the possible reasons why this story is not being covered.  What is important is that war is brewing in the Middle East, likely a very large war once the war breaks out.  Many nations are likely to get involved:  Israel, Iran, Syria, U.S, Britain, possibly Russia and even China, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Palestinians in general, possibly Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia (if Iran lobs a missile into their oil fields), the E.U, etc.  Israel will not allow Iran to get a deployable nuclear weapon.  The question of war is not IF, but rather only WHEN.

After an absence of 2669 years as a free, independent nation (since 721 BC when Assyria took the northern 10 tribes of Israel captive), Israel finally returned in 1948, beginning that period of time the Bible calls the End Times.  From the parable of the fig tree in the Bible, we, yes we!, are the final generation to see the fulfillment of all end time events prophesied in the Bible.  Israel is now 63 1/2 years old, and not getting any younger! (small joke here)  The big war that is now brewing in the Middle East is very likely the "sudden destruction" event that is associated throughout the Bible with the Rapture of those who truly believe in Christ (many who call themselves "Christians" do not actually believe what is in the Bible-----call themselves what they want, they are not Christians!).  Jesus (Israel's long-rejected Messiah) states in John 3:7, ".....you must be born again".   

Most Christians today are sound asleep in slumber, and I am speaking here about the real Christians!  As long as their pastor or priest says nothing about this topic (and most do not!), they can forget about this and pretend that all will continue on as always-----this decade, the 2020's, 2030's, 2040's, etc.  Sorry, Charlie, this is not so!  The Bible is a guide to individual salvation and how to live our lives once we accept Israel's Messiah (and yes, the only way for a Jewish person to get to heaven and eternal life is through Israel's Messiah---Christ).  But the Bible is also a Book filled with prophecies of a future, distant time when Israel would return as a nation.  That future, distant time is our recent past-----1948!  A countdown began that year, a countdown that will lead to the Rapture, 7-year Tribulation Period, and finally, the Second Coming of Christ, Who this time Israel will finally receive as their Messiah!  It is prophesied as so in the Bible and most certainly will happen!

It is a huge discredit to the many pastors and priests of our time that they are people-pleasers rather than God-pleasers!  They fear men more than they fear God!  And make no mistake about it, God is just!  They will be judged accordingly!  It is important to understand about our times (late in these End Times which began in 1948), that the scripture speaks to our times!  Matthew 24:37-39 states, "For the coming of the Son of Man will be JUST LIKE the days of Noah.  For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in marriage, until the DAY that Noah entered the ark, and THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be."  A terrible time of destruction awaits those who are left on the earth after the soon-coming Rapture!

How many people today have the courage to be God-pleasers rather than people-pleasers?  Very, very few!  Most people fear men who do not have the power over life and death!  If it be necessary, better to fear God and have men hate you!  The prophets of old understood this as did the apostles of Christ!  So sad that so few understand this today!  We are to demonstrate love to one another, but are NEVER to compromise God's Word (the Bible) because we fear men over God!
