"salvation"

Hi Everyone
I have been reading the letters and are very encouraged to see Christians watching for the return of Jesus.I am somewhat disturbed that some of you believe only certain Christians will be raptured.

Salvation is through faith ALONE. That is what set's us apart from all other religions. So many churches today may say it is faith alone but then say that faith will lead to works. Well that just makes someone want to work harder to "make sure" they are saved. A false teaching.

Jesus took our place on the cross and said it is finished. We do not need to help him save us. He does not need our help. If you think you can be good enough, think again. You are depending on yourself not Jesus.Romans 4:5 says"But to him that worketh not, but believes on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness"

Every believer will be included in the rapture not just "the good Christians"

The rapture will not take place until we see the anti-christ proclaiming to be god. 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. That happens in the middle of the final 7 years. So it could take place anytime after the middle and before the return of Christ in the second coming.

The time is getting nearer but I do not believe it will be on the 29th of January 2012. It could be sometime this year but I do not see it happening then.

I hope nobody takes this the wrong way but the Bible is clear abouot salvation. We have confused the people. If someone believes in Jesus he will be saved. I know James says faith without works is dead and this is true. He does not say it does not save the person with faith. He is talking about if your faith has no works how can it be any good to anyone else. You are justified by God through faith and by man through your works.

As far  all beleivers being raptured  1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 states "For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with him." The context is about the Lord coming as a thief in the night and that we are not in darkness and that we are not to "sleep" as others do but are to watch. The bible speaks of a crown for the watchers. But please do not have so much pride you think as a watcher you will be raptured and someone not watching will not be. God loves that person just as much and "sealed him" with the Holy Spirit just like us watchers.

thanks
