This man was an occultist / medium who said he received visions from outer space.

 He would go into a trance while gazing into a pot of water that was swinging and suspended.  We know a true prophet of God does not receive things from God in this manner.

 Note that the world never trumpets the words of real prophets.  Only the false ones.
