"OBEDIENCE: A NEGLECTED DOCTRINE"

Paul,

Your post hit home with me. It is so true, especially in these end times, to share all of our experiences with others, as a wittness
for the Lord. And to strengthen each other. By shying back and being afraid to not be excepted, words that the Lord might want
someone to hear, could be kept from being shared. I prayed the other day, for Jesus to give me a sign, before I posted about the
144,000. Upon looking up a passage in II. Corinthians to share in my post, I turned to the page where I had underlined a verse that I wanted to put in the post. It was Chapter 11, verse 2......about being presented as a chaste virgin to Christ. Well, my eyes went to the opposite page, there was ONE verse in red, the only verse on both pages that were the words of Jesus. Chap 12: 9.....And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

You see, my weakness has been to be afraid of not being excepted. And in order to be obedient and share my testamony, I had to be shone my weakness and be told by Jesus that it was OK to be weak. No one is perfect, and he knows that. So we have to trust in him to be Obedient. Share your experiences with others, and grow in Christ, by allowing him to strengthen us towards Obedience.
