"A lot of unbelievers will not become Christians, because they say that the Cross of Calvary is shameful."

Hello, John and Doves,

A lot of unbelievers will not become Christians, because they say that the Cross of Calvary is shameful.

Well, a few scriptures come to mind.  First off, Jesus wasn't too keen on the Cross, either.

It is written,
"Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed,
'My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me.
Yet not as I will, but as you will.' "  Matthew 26:39

We believers worship this same Jesus that obeyed the Father.  We await His return,

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

Really, we have no viable alternative to trusting in Jesus.

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."  Acts 4:12

Again, it is written,

"For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ."  1 Corinthians 3:11

Be sure to get your ticket to the Rapture, before it's too late!

Then,

remember what Hagrid said to Harry, "Stick to your ticket!"

“Pray without ceasing.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Quench not the Spirit.

Despise not prophesyings.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Faithful [is] he that calleth you, who also will do [it].

Brethren, pray for us.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-25
