Hello, John and Doves,

 

"When the Son of Man comes will He find faith?"  Luke 18:8  KJV

 

He won't find faith if the faithful have to wait through 7 years of hell on Earth.

However, if the time is shortened, to just over 3 and a half years, then Jesus will find faith when He returns at the end of Daniel's 70th week.

 

Jesus said, "If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect [Eretz Israel] those days will be shortened."  Matthew 24:22  NIV

 

Look at us.  No matter what your theory is about the timeframe of the LORD's return, I think all Doves will agree that so far, the 21st century has been one bumpy ride!

 

Jesus says to all those who believe and trust in Him (even to those who believe in His Name--John 1:12),

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."  John 16:33  KJV

 

Whom has God chosen?

"All that the Father gives me shall come to me;

and he that comes to me I will in no wise cast out."  John 6:37  KJV

 

Can we be lost after we are truly saved?

“ ‘And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day.

“ ‘For it is my Father's will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day.’ ”  John 6:39-40

 

Just how powerful is Jesus Ha Mashiach against the Enemy?

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me,

“for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else.  No one can snatch them from the Father's hand.

“The Father and I are one.”  John 10:27-30

 

How can I believe that Jesus will deliver on His promises?

Be sure of the LORD's promises.  The LORD maintains His Holy Word

in a position above His Holy Name:

"...[Y]our promises are backed by all the honor of your name."  Psalm 138:2  NLT

 

"Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor

                and gave him the name above all other names,

    that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow

                in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

     and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,

                to the glory of God the Father."  Philippians 2:10-11
