"R.
Reese re: 1290 and 1335 days"
Dan 12:11 sets the 1290 day time frame to begin at
the time the regular sacrifice is abolished and it ends at the
time the abomination of desolation is set up.
So when is or was the regular sacrifice abolished? Was it
abolished at Calvary or does the scripture refer to the animal
sacrifices practiced by the Israelis? Both events occurred
much more than 1290 days ago.
Now the 1335 days are mentioned in v. 12 but is it assumed that
the additional 45 days follow the 1290 just because v. 12
follows v. 11? Is there another witness (scriptural of
course) or two that you can call upon to validate this position?
If the "rapture" occurs at the end of this month as you project,
Ron, shouldn't there be, at this very time, the regular practice
of sacrifice going on in the temple......oops, no temple.
Well, I do have a dilemma trying to understand these two time
frames.
If you (or anyone) can help I would be most appreciative.
