"Your letters state that any one who disagrees with you does not "get it"These issues have been hashed over here for many years and there has always been a certain amount of disagreement. You make the statement that some of us come here with long lists of requirements beyound God's.Could you please give an example of that?Forgive me if I am wrong, but the warnings I have seen have all come from scripture. Here is a list for you. This is a warning written to Christians by Paul."Dear Brother Frank,I by NO means meant to imply that if one doesn't agree with me, doesn't get it. It is simply to agree with the word of God. Jesus does not change His mind on the issue of salvation...He can't. If He did, we could not trust Him today and our work is in vain. He IS God and everything He says is true and He is faithful to keep His promises. This is the liberty He offers FREE, by His grace! I am truly sorry, to all those who feel left out but my hope is that you will truly believe and are set free! Oh, what joy there is in freedom! Praise God!The list you provided, right out of the word of God is true, I am not refuting Pauls list or anything in the word of God. I will stand by it faithfully and willingly, with the help of the Holy Spirit in me, compelling me to accomplish so great a feat...through me. All things in His word is truth. However, as an act of the faith by which I stand, I can not add anything to what He has already done. We can not add anything to what He has already done. This is where I believe so many children of God struggle in the belief, that what Jesus did was good enough. As the list goes, as I have read here and other sites; We can not rely on reading the bible, baptism, communion, daily ministering to others, praying three times a day, praying this way or that way until He comes, going to church or working hard to be good, in order for our salvation to be sure. These are our own religious works of righteousness [for we are but filthy rags]. Jesus has brought us liberty from that which He knew was impossible for us to acheive. He left us with His Holy and Righteous Spirit, to ensure that our works were the works of God; that we BELIEVE in the One whom He sent. All of our actions MUST point to a loving, saving faith in Jesus Christ and Him Alone! My posts are to encourage all who feel burdened by the yoke of slavery, to come into the knowledge of liberty. Once that liberty is understood, peace and rest follows, His works of righteousness begins in and through us. As we have read of the many brothers and sisters who are so weighed down with fear concerning the assurance Jesus have freely given us; their main focus is working so hard to be righteous before men, that they can't do or recognize the compelling works of God through the Holy Spirit [thus an act of BELIEVING on the one whom He sent]. Because in order for them to believe in a righteousness that is by faith, they themselves have to see a righteousness that is through self, by religious works, in order to believe they are truly saved. Therefore list A B & C is required daily to satiate the assurance of making the Rapture and acquiring salvation, and insisting on judging, encouraging, promoting and teaching others to fall under this same yoke of slavery. This should not be. This is not faith and it is not BELIEVING on the one whom He sent. The Holy Spirit has a job to do, here on earth until He comes:"However, when He the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you." John 16:13-15"The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit." John 3:8This is how it is for ALL those who are born again. We are willing, He compells us to do the work. We love Him, we hear and do what He says. It is not I, but Christ who lives in me.I pray we all learn, understand and Believe as brother Paul stated:"For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain." Gal 2:19:21Are we Worthy? YES! For Christ has made us worthy - for this IS our Blessed Hope, a hope that is sure! Are we Righteous? YES! For Christ has made us righteous - a righteousness that is by faith [the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things NOT seen] not of works lest any should boast. Are we Saved? YES! For Christ has saved us - An Irrevocable Promise that is sure and guaranteed by His own Blood Covenant."Look to Me and be saved, All the ends of the earth! For I am God and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself; the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow and every tongue shall take an oath." Isa 45:22:23The names that were mentioned in my post were mentioned because of the writings I have seen from them, some who have been set free and others that encourages our sisters and brothers who are in doubt simply to be still and KNOW! Know that His word is true and sure. I know the Lord is satisfied and rejoices when one of His children comes to the knowledge of His rest and Belief in the truth of what He did to set us free. He then knows He is now able to reveal Himself more freely to them. The windows of their lives have been washed and they will begin to see, discern and joyfully receive the work the Holy Spirit brings to them and it becomes such a real pleasure to see what He is going to do next.I know that some have latched on to the gospel that is by works and it has become a security blanket to them, I can't convince them otherwise. I do know this way is quite tiring and exhausting but Jesus has quinched that thirst by bringing rest to the soul. Jesus says, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.John 7:37-38 I do encourage them to BELIEVE in Christ, the Creator of the universe and His promises. As His word says, ..."Press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus... and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you." Phil 3:14-15I say WOE, yes! Because just as the Pharisee's who knew but did not BELIEVE the scripture placed a yoke of slavery on the necks of His people then, we must be careful NOT to enslave the masses of His people today. "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36 "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27And so I stand in sincere love for the body of Christ!
“Let God be true and EVERY man a Liar.”
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is.” Gal 5:1-10
If I have spoken, promoted, taught or encouraged anything or anyone to do that which does not line up with or is contrary to the words of God in any way, let Him deal with me ever so severly.
