"And the Lord said, My spirit shall not strive with man forever, for
he is indeed flesh; yet HIS DAYS SHALL BE ONE HUNDRED TWENTY YEARS."
"I tell you the truth, THIS GENERATION will certainly not pass away
until all these things have happened."
My greatest fear is that "this generation" of Luke 21:32 is the "one
hundred twenty years" of Genesis 6:3.
According to YOUR WORD, come Lord Jesus!
In regards to Genesis 6:3 - this was in Noah's day when men lived to be quite a bit older and God cut their years down to 120 years. We now live much shorter years than 120. I have to share with you that just today, I read Psalm 90:10 and feel that verse sounds more like the generation that is spoken to in Luke 21:32....plus it is like there is a hint at the end that sounds like the rapture.
King James Version (KJV)The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
I hope this encourages you brother - it sure did put a smile on my face!
