I find Raymond and Michael's article most interesting, as I researched this subject way back in the eighties from reading what Jesus speaks to His disciples ( & others) in the gospel according John ch.10 verse 16, which says " And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd".

This passage refers to those ,who were obedient to G-d before the Abrahamic covenant promise, which must include all those raised in your excellent post given above.
