I wanted to share some my 2 latest insights with you.
First thing I want to share is the comparison of Rev 19:10 and Rev 22:8-10. It is a very similar passage and if you compare the differences it looks like an equation.
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
If you compare the two, it results in the following:
- Those who have the testimony of Jesus are the same who keep the sayings of this book.
- The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, which is not sealed in the book of revelation. My video about it:
The second thing I want to share are my thoughts about grace vs. works.
We can't do anything to get Gods love, it comes only by grace and we already have it 100%. By faith in Jesus we are saved (that means, your sins are forgiven and we get eternal live after physical death [or at the rapture]), there are no works that could ever save us.
So what about works? Works are the result (or proof) of our real love towards God (rather than love for the world). They ARE important, although they don't save us.
Faith starts our race - works finish it!
Don't be a minimalist for Jesus. Run your race and finish it as best as you can!
