This hit me like a punch in the stomach. Far too strong a reaction so I had to go in the other room and think about what just happened to me. The thinking turned into prayer and the answer was given. This is the world, the people in it, dead to what is happening around them. There are those of us who are trying to wake them up so that they would realize that their time truly is running out. But they dont listen, they just "lay" there. Dead to the obvious around them. I wasnt grieving for the dead kitty, I'm grieving for all those who will become the dead kitty if they don't wake up. Hope that makes sense.
