"To Jim Bramlet re
"Your Words Have Power!""
Amen Brother! I am encouraged by your words
of grace and favour. Our words do indeed have power.
Yesterday, I was standing under my back verandah whist in
conversation on my mobile phone. I notice our chickens
running for the door of their shed and a bird swooping
them. It was a hawk attacking them. As I ran towards
them the hawk flew high into the bush at the back of our
property, obviously scoping for his next attack.
When I woke this morning I asked the Lord to speak to me.
I grabbed my bible from my bedside and went to open it. In a
flash God put Isaiah 64 on my heart. Within a second the holy
spirit had me open my bible to the exact page and I said at loud
"WOW". I had never read this before. It read:
Isaiah 64:1-4
1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest
come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, 2
As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to
boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the
nations may tremble at thy presence! 3 When thou didst terrible
things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains
flowed down at thy presence. 4 For since the beginning of the
world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath
the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him
that waiteth for him.
Aaah, thank you Jesus, my Lord.
This morning when I let the chickens out of their shed they were
timid and ran back inside. I prayed psalm 91 over them and
applied the blood of Jesus to the promise of their protection..
We love our friendly little "chooks". I noticed the hawk
in the bush watching for an opportunity. A righteous anger
arose within me and I spoke quietly yet in full authority to the
hawk to leave this property and the area and that the chickens
were protected in Jesus name. Within about thirty seconds
it flew from ours to the neighbours property and I spoke to it
again and commanded it to leave the area. Immediately, it
flew away.
As we wait for our Lord's glorious return, with eyes and hearts
firmly fixed on Him, with excitement and anticipation of moving
to the place he has prepared for us, He has met our every need,
protects us and loves us. Nothing can devour us.
Decree a thing and it shall be established (Job 22.28).
Be encoraged Jim. You are highly favoured, greatly blessed and
deeply loved.
