Earthquake Argentina

Earthquake in Argentina shakes Santiago del Estero.. Argentina was struck with a magnitude 7.0 earthquake in a rural area. There were no reports of injuries and many of the capital citizens didn't feel the quake.

The U.S. Geological Survey registered the quake initially at 6.9, changing the parameters at 7.0 later on. This is the first quake in 2011 in Argentina, and the 6th of such magnitude in the last 111 years, according to data from USGS.

The U.S. Geological Survey said Saturday that the quake, initially registered at 6.9, hit at 6:56 a.m.
