"To Fay"
You put things much better than I could.
Thank you so much. In accepting Mormon doctrine and covenants, Glenn
HAS effectively DENIED CHRIST. That's the whole point. No matter what
else he says, good, bad or indifferent, the bottom line is, he denies
our Lord. I almost feel like a person walking on a busy street, traffic
is going this way and that. Busses taking kids to school, taxis helping
get riders to their destinations, cars with families on vacation....all
good things, all positive...but if I sit and watch all that movement
and allow a person to blindly/distractedly walk out into it, where is
the good? If I see the danger and do not shout out or grab them back
from certain death, am I not then complicit?
Maybe those of you
who don't see what we see think we are 'throwing the baby out with the
bath water', but the bottom line is, Glenn is working for the enemy. He
believes that if he can get people on board with what he is preaching,
then he gets his own planet complete with 'spirit wives' and gets to
make his own 'spirit children'. I will not be party to his delusion and
his downfall. The saddest thing about this cult is that it makes it
nearly impossible for those in so deep to ever get out. Glenn would
undoubtedly fall back into alcoholism, his marriage would break up
(unless he and his wife both agreed to leave the Church), he'd lose his
children. But in terms of livelihood, he'd lose his standing in the LDS
world of business. So yes, we all do need to pray for him. He is just
steps away from an earthly melt down, and I don't even want to think
about how many people he is taking with him if the Rapture comes before
he stops.
Don't be one of 'the elect', educate yourself, pray on
it. Understand where we are coming from. I think his new book will open
some eyes...at least I hope it will.
Blessings~
