More comparison with Noah’s day.
Dear friends:
The other day I shared what it was like “in the days of Noah” and how it
compared with our world today.
One characteristic of Noah’s day is found in Genesis 6:11 where it says,
“The earth was filled with violence.”
The following news items appeared in the news just during in the past
24 hours:
1. Jewish Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and others were shot, with
several killed, in a mindless shooting rampage in Arizona. I read
the shooter’s YouTube page and it was all irrational and
nonsensical. He is obviously demon-possessed or insane, or both.
2. There were 14 decapitated bodies found in the Mexico resort city
of Acapulco.
3. The number of combat injuries in Afghanistan approaches
Iraqi-War levels.
4. A celebrity Portuguese television journalist was found castrated
and bludgeoned to death in a New York City hotel, and his homosexual
lover, a male model who had recently been a contestant on a Portuguese
reality TV show, was in police custody Saturday.
5. Homosexual brothers in Brazil drugged their father and buried
him alive! The father was a well-known Afro-Brazilian religious
leader who strongly opposed his sons’ homosexuality.
6. Oh, and let us not forget the number of unborn babies murdered
each day. Here are some stats:
Worldwide
Number of abortions per year: Approximately 42 Million
Number of abortions per day: Approximately 115,000
USA
Number of abortions per year: 1.37 Million (1996)
Number of abortions per day: Approximately 3,700
Each of these innocent little babies suffered violent deaths at the hands
of their own mothers, to the applause of liberal, bloodthirsty
politicians and Planned Parenthood.
Items 1 through 5 above were reported in just one day. In Item # 6,
violent victims numbered more than 100,000 in that one day.
Just as in Noah’s day, the world is filled with violence.
Jim
