The May 21, 2011 date interested me because on May 21, 1097 AD

the first Crusaders made siege of Nicea and took it in June.  Then in

the summer of 1099 AD they took Jerusalem but lost it on July 4, 1187 AD

at the Battle of Hattin. 

 

Josephus said that signs of chariots were seen in the clouds around Jerusalem occurring on May 21st.  But that isn't what seems to have

influenced Harold Camping. ;o)  His math overwhelms me: I do well

with adding and subtracting.
