Dear Cindy,

 

I too read the comment regarding the prayer given by the Native American last week during the memorial in Tucson, Arizona, but it did not offend me. I am not writing you back to call you out and say that you are a new ager, or anything like that, but I do believe that you are wrong in your thinking regarding the "Great Spirit". Jesus Christ is God in the flesh - the One True God, and He has never been referred to as the "Great Spirit" in the word of God, the Bible.

 

Also, I know many very NICE Mormons that would never hurt a fly either, but they do not embrace the true gospel either, as is true with any and all religions apart from Christ - which unfortunately includes a lot of lost souls.

 

The person that made the comment about the Native American was speaking the Truth, not hate; and remember the very words of Jesus Christ. He stated:

 

" I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." -- John 14:6
