Dear Doves.

The 'Day of Christ' is the 'first-day' of the much longer period of time known as the 'Day of the Lord'. The Scriptures containing the phrase 'Day of Christ' describe 'deliverance or rapture', whereas the Scriptures containing the phrase 'Day of the Lord' describe 'judgement or wrath'.

Scripture tells us that deliverance (rapture) happens just before judgement (wrath) on the SAME DAY:

Luke 17:26 & 28
"Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man."
"It was the same in the days of Lot."

Luke 17:27 & 29
"...the day Noah entered the arc, then the flood came and destroyed them all."
"...the day lot left Sodom, fire and sulphur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all."

Luke 17:30
"It will be just like this on THE DAY the Son of Man is revealed (appears to rapture His Church).

Therefore, the 'Day of Christ' is 'THE DAY' of the rapture (deliverance) of His Church, but as soon as that event happens the 'Day of Christ' then becomes the 'Day of the Lord' which is the much longer period of judgement (wrath) on those left-behind.

According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus!
