I completely agree with you! I also do not believe that Rev. 4 is the rapture of 'His Church'. Jesus's purpose for John in Rev. Chapters 4, 5, 6 & 7 is to witness and write, for us, what Jesus is going to do leading 'UP TO AND INCLUDING' the rapture of His Church.

Rev 1:19
"Write therefore what you have seen, what is now, and what will take place later." (This is for His Church's benefit.)

Revelation Chapter 8 is 'the opening' of the Seventh Seal. 'His Church', the 'Multitude Saints',  will be in Heaven "standing before the throne, and in front of the Lamb while wearing white robes" when the Seventh Seal is opened.
