Dear Doves,

It is important to remember that God's focus is on Israel during the '70th Week of Daniel', NOT His Church. The events of the '70th week' are designed, by God, to bring Israel around to accepting Christ. 'The elect' who are saved out of the 'shortened tribulation' of Israel, known as 'the time of Jacob's trouble', is 'the remnant' of Jacob or Israel.

'His elect', who is His Church, does not go through tribulation, but is raptured instead.
