Dear all,

There is someone who has brought this to my attention, and I wish to understand what is being said here.

The accusation is that I am using practices that are forbidden in scripture in my interpretation of the scriptures, namely interpreting omens, and the observation of times. 

Here is the verse:

Deu 18:10-12

10  There shall not^H3808 be found^H4672 among you any one that maketh his son^H1121 or his daughter^H1323 to pass through^H5674 the fire,^H784 or that useth^H7080 divination,^H7081 or an observer of times,^H6049 or an enchanter,^H5172 or a witch,^H3784

11  Or a charmer,^{H2266 H2267} or a consulter^H7592 with familiar spirits,^H178 or a wizard,^H3049 or a necromancer.^{H1875 H413 H4191}

12  For^H3588 all^H3605 that do^H6213 these things^H428 are an abomination^H8441 unto the LORD:^H3068 and because^H1558 of these^H428 abominations^H8441 the LORD^H3068 thy God^H430 doth drive them out^{H3423 (H853)} from before^{H4480 H6440} thee.

 

For the sake of understanding what this word is, here it is found in other contexts?

 

Gen 9:14  And it shall come to pass,^H1961 when I bring^H6049 a cloud^H6051 over^H5921 the earth,^H776 that the bow^H7198 shall be seen^H7200 in the cloud:^H6051

‛ānan: A verb meaning to practice soothsaying, fortune-telling, divining, magic. While it is clear from the contexts and the versions that this term is used for some type of magic or witchcraft, its etymology is unclear. Therefore, the specifics of the practice it connotes are equally unclear. However, it is clear that it was strictly forbidden, and the one who practiced this act was detestable to God (Deu_18:10, Deu_18:12). Isaiah appears to use the term figuratively to demean the idolatrous Israelites (Isa_57:3).

 

 

 

Obviously, I have NEVER in my life considered that trying to understand scripture based on numerical data would EVER be a forbidden practice.  I reasoned that God created NUMBERS.   We have a book called “Numbers”.   Daniel was told by the angels information concerning observation of the number of days between until the Messiah would come.  Furthermore, he was told about the 2300 days, 1290 days, and the 1335 days.   Ezekiel was told about the days being a prophetic shadow of the years that he was prophesying about.   How many times in the scripture does it say something about the “self-same day”?  Did not someone “observe the times”?

 

My point is this?  this particular word H6049 must have a meaning that different and separate from the experiences that Daniel had or any other Saint that God gave specific instructions concerning time, measurement, or numbers.   How about the scripture:

 

Rev 13:18  Here^G5602 is^G2076 wisdom.^G4678 Let him that hath^G2192 understanding^G3563 count^G5585 the^G3588 number^G706 of the^G3588 beast:^G2342 for^G1063 it is^G2076 the number^G706 of a man;^G444 and^G2532 his^G848 number^G706 is Six hundred threescore and six.^G5516

 

Would God tell us to count the number of the beast (if you have understanding) if the practice of counting numbers is a FORBIDDEN practice in and of itself?

 

I know the scripture is clear? LET HIM THAT HATH UNDERSTANDING?  in other words? ?? if you don’t have understanding?  maybe you should NOT be counting the numbers, because YOU will make a mess if you try and interpret what you don’t understand.

 

 

Let’s focus on this verse here, because the same word used that is forbidden H6049 is used of God?

 

Gen 9:14  And it shall come to pass,^H1961 when I bring^H6049 a cloud^H6051 over^H5921 the earth,^H776 that the bow^H7198 shall be seen^H7200 in the cloud:^H6051

 

I think the key to understanding this, is that H6049, is something that is reserved for God’s purpose.  If it comes to be any other purpose than it is designed for, it is sin.   Again, I am just trying to understand, and if someone has specific insight, I am listening.  Perhaps it is like cults who use the Bible to promote their twisted and false doctrines.   The Bible is not sinful, but their use of the Bible to promote their false religion is sinful.   Does that make sense?

 

I cannot find anywhere in the Bible that says that Gematria, or looking at a Verse number is in and of itself sinful, or a demonic practice.  Yes, gematria does play a huge part in Mystism, Kabbalah, Gnosticism, and occultic practices, but those who use Gematria that are into Mystism, Kabbalah, Gnosticism, and the Occult, are they using something that God created for an evil purpose?  I am convinced that is the case.  If I am wrong, please help me understand.

 

So that the purpose of God can be manifest, I will  declare to you a mystery hidden within this verse.  I JUST NOW HAVE SEEN IT. In fact, I am COMPLETELY amazed that God is able to hide this mystery here:

 

Do you know the woman of Revelation 12?   Do you know the mystery of the manchild?  Have you heard of the “Cloud of Witnesses”?   I find that very interesting the writer of Hebrews would used such a term, “CLOUD of WITNESSES”.   Last night my pastor took of his shoe and threw it at the man speaking in our youth service because what the man said “blessed his socks off”.   (Actually I was thankful it was only his shoe!!!  LOL)

 

In the very first translation of the bible in the English language in 1382 contains what I believe is the name of that Woman with child in Verse # 6051.  No? I am sorry? ? if you are that interested, you can do the research yourself.   Since the 1382 version is extremely difficult to find online, even though you can find the 1395 version fairly easily, I don’t know that I should even point it out.   I will explain what I have seen without specific details.

 

Do you know of the law of loosing the shoe and spitting in the face?    John the Baptist said, “who’s sandal’s I am unworthy to loose.”   That reference that John made was a back reference to the law of loosing the shoe.   For the sake of the reader, I will say nothing more other than the BOW H7198 that is seen in the CLOUD H6051 declares this mystery.   It is even more amazing that the picture I have seen in the spirit is embedded in the language and structure of the Bible.

 

Verse # 7198

Rth 4:7  Now this^H2063 was the manner in former time^H6440 in Israel^H3478 concerning^H5921 redeeming^H1353 and concerning^H5921 changing,^H8545 for to confirm^H6965 all^H3605 things;^H1697 a man^H376 plucked off^H8025 his shoe,^H5275 and gave^H5414 it to his neighbour:^H7453 and this^H2063 was a testimony^H8584 in Israel.^H3478

 

Verse # 6051 = Book 6:9:13

Jos 9:13  And these^H428 bottles^H4997 of wine,^H3196 which^H834 we filled,^H4390 were new;^H2319 and, behold,^H2009 they be rent:^H1234 and these^H428 our garments^H8008 and our shoes^H5275 are become old^H1086 by reason of the very^H3966 long^{H4480 H7230} journey.^H1870

 

Have you not read that wisdom is not found in the land of the living?

Anyhow? you can chase the rabbit trails, and this picture is repeated over and over again in the scripture.   One more note? isn’t it interesting that Jesus referred to the wineskins in a parable declaring the mysteries of old?

 

Mar 2:22  And^G2532 no man^G3762 putteth^G906 new^G3501 wine^G3631 into^G1519 old^G3820 bottles:^G779 else^G1490 the^G3588 new^G3501 wine^G3631 doth burst^G4486 the^G3588 bottles,^G779 and^G2532 the^G3588 wine^G3631 is spilled,^G1632 and^G2532 the^G3588 bottles^G779 will be marred:^G622 but^G235 new^G3501 wine^G3631 must be put^G992 into^G1519 new^G2537 bottles.^G779

 

Mark 2:22 could be written NT 2:2:22.

 

Do you know that G2222 = LIFE (Zoe)

 

Do you know that Verse # 5707 has a gematria of 2222?

 

Do you know that Strong’s H5707 = witness?

 

Can you see the connection?
