Amen, amen, and amen, sister!  So many Christians think that Father Yahweh is this distant, unreachable person that you can’t talk to, and that is SO wrong!  Just like my Daddy… he might not have minded me going somewhere or doing something, but he liked to be ASKED anyway… he wanted me to TALK to him because I love him.  Father Yahweh is the same way.  Recently I had a telephone conversation with 2 Doves who have been talking to me about PRAYING in tongues (praying in the Spirit… Barry Amundsen & Linda McCormic), and since I was raised Southern Baptist, and Lutheran was the only other type I’ve been to, I never knew anything about PRAYING in tongues or speaking in tongues (which the Baptists claim is of Satan or that those Gifts no longer apply to today’s Christians… BUNK!!!), when they explained to me that since I have already had hands laid on me, asking the Spirit to baptize me (as well as my water baptisms when I was 12, then in 2006 again), He had already GIVEN me the Gift of PRAYING in tongues (which He will give to ALL of His children that ASK Him). They suggested that I not ask Him, therefore, to please GIVE me the Gift, but rather to ask Him how I would go about “releasing” the Spirit to pray from my spirit.  Then LISTEN to what God said to me so that I would know what He expected of me.  I asked Barry, “How will I KNOW His voice when He speaks to me?”  Barry said, “He said to tell you that you already KNOW His voice.”  TOO COOL!  It’s hard for me to get any quiet personal time, but I will see that I pay attention so that when He talks to me, I will hear Him with my spiritual ears (“He who has an ear, let him hear…”).
